Color Me Gold Run – Annual 5K!

The Second Annual PCFF Color Me Gold 5k and Fun Run to raise awareness for children battling pediatric cancer is Saturday, September 17, 2016! Purposely chosen in the middle of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month!

The Pediatric Cancer Family Foundation (PCFF) was founded in 2015 by Kurt and Karina Hale in response to their son’s diagnosis of Hypodiploid Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. This 501(c)3 non-profit organization’s mission is to bring the gospel to families when they are at their most vulnerable state. Our mission is to carry out the biblical command to ‘bear one another’s burdens’ by walking through the valley with them and caring for their practical needs.

The race will take place at the beautiful World Golf Village. Whether you choose to run or walk the 5K or 1 mile fun run, there will be honored guests (pediatric cancer patients, survivors, siblings, families and families of those whom we’ve lost) along the route to encourage you, friendly volunteers to guide you, water and powerade along the route, and a special ceremony at the end!

Awards will be given to the top 3 race times overall. Everyone that registers by August 7, 2016 will receive a special lower rate! Come join us for what we hope becomes your favorite race event of the year and help us raise money which will 100% go back into benefiting local pediatric cancer families practically, relationally and emotionally! PCFF will do anything to lighten the load for these families. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
